Touted as the largest and oldest of San Diego's nightclubs, it's no wonder that Rich's is San Diego's most popular. Find a cute crowd dancing to the house and pop remixes all night.

Rich's has a long history in San Diego, and your mileage may vary on any given night/event/party, but for my money, STUNT on Sunday nights is one of the more incredible queer bar nights you'll find here or anywhere, combining drag and ballroom and incredible music in an electrifying and welcoming environment.
The place for juveniles
As soon as you walk into richs..the first thought that's likely to come to your mind is "Where are the adults?" This place is for kids. (and grown-ups of all ages who behave like kids). Patrons are deluded, mostly uneducated lower class people. Bar tenders are rude and DJs pretty much suck every night with rare exceptions. Avoid.
Visiting from Texas during Pride 2014
Now this is the dance club. The deejays will keep you on that dance floor till you drop. Naturally, during their busy nights and/or special events it will get very crowded and hot.! That is to be expected. Lots of yummy eye candy, to say the least. Planning on buying my VIP weekend Pass during Pride. Works out perfect. Plus it saves you $$$.
Good And Hot
My partner and I were there two months ago and we had a blast. The dance floor is big, the boys are cute and the drinks were strong. I highly recommend it if dancing and cruising are your thing. We were with a group of friends who are locals so the doormen knew my friends and let us cut the line.
