Sunday Afternoons / Eve

It's awesome anytime in the afternoon & evening. Relaxing good time. After 6pm you have to pay a couple bucks. The crowd changes about 8pm.

Its not the same...

The clientel is young, messy and loud. The drinks are expensive and the music is so loud that you can't hear the person you are talking with.. So not a place to have enjoyable meal and conversation. They do tend to get carried away with the decerations as it looks like a circus from the street..

A great 3 minute cruise - fun food - good with bud

Don't go alone unless you do the walk through cruise. Love the big muscle waiter - he's so cute. Otherwise it's a bit 1977 revisited. The staff tries but they really need to polish their game. It could be one of the hippest clubs but San Diego is a small town with an even smaller "party" crowd than most cities. A lot of straight women accompany their "girl" friends to this club but that's okay. But it is definitely NOT a cruise bar and nobody goes in this place alone. I wish they would step back take another look and redesign the place after seeing what is being done in London, Madrid and NYC. Create honey CREATE! Still I love the place. It is warm an cozy, fun and friendly. And you have got to love the staff.
