Black's Beach

(62 Ratings)
"Danger” sign means you’re in the right place

Here’s what you need to know to find possibly the most famous nude beach in America: Put “Torrey Pines Glider Port” into your mapping app of choice and follow the directions. When you get to the destination, you’ll drive up a small driveway and onto a dirt lot. Keep driving forward (North) — it’s further than you think. Park at the northern-most section of the lot and make your way to the edge of the cliff. If you see a sign that says “danger”, you...

Great HOT bodies and some other ones also!

The best way to find this beach is to ask a bartender or anyone at a bar, or go to their website. It's all about nudity and there is plenty of it there. As in all cases, just beware.

It's a Hike, But It's Worth It!

This is one great beach! I was not able to see the Black's Beach Bares, the clothing-optional volleyball players, but the mental image of them is really hot! A note on getting there: I entered Black's Beach by way of the Torrey Pines Gliderport and then hiked down the cliff. If you take this route, be sure to wear hiking boots for your safety. Pack your flip-flops or sandals or sneakers in your beach bag, but don't try going down the cliff wearing them. Once you get to the beach, the eye candy is everywhere! You're gonna love it!

A must visit for SD

This is a truly stunning spot. If you aren't bothered by the clothing optional mentality, a visit to Black's will give you the best San Diego has to offer. Just drive along the dirt road as far as you can, and you'll find the somewhat sketchy path leading down to the coast. Beautiful sweeping views accompany your trek down, and a flock of gay sunbathers await you at the bottom.
