Pecs Bar

(184 Ratings)
Relaxed hangout

This dark, discreet gray cement building is full of rainbows inside. Just open the door at the "we're open" sign and find a packed cruise bar.

what a difference time can make

i have been going to pecs off and on for ten years. i used to work very close by and would stop in for a drink most nights and always had a good time but now i only go occasionally. i met one of my best friends there years ago but he is the only one that i still hang out with and haven''t really had too much success making any other friends there. i haven't noticed all the rudeness that other reviewers are talking about but maybe because i know most of the bartenders for a long time. it has a nice patio for smoking and they have hot dogs on mon. and meatballs on fri. during the early evening. go and see for yourself and writer your own review i am curious what others will think now

Lost its lust..

It sucks now.. The clientel is much younger and messy, the twinks dance to Hip Hop being played on the music box.. They don't even drink, just hanging out and being loud .. This is no longer a Mans bar!! And not an attractive groupe of guys.. If you want men, seach out Levi, leather / bear nights around town!! Or the Hole on sundays..

Not amused

In the past year, I've tried Pecs 3 times on different days of the week. Always the same results which isn't very amusing. The good part of this place is the outdoor patio area. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. Bartenders make a bar hospitable. The ones here don't just have an attitude, they're rude. This seems to be the general consensus from my friends also. When you ask people what Pecs is like, the basic response is almost always the same, "It's OK but not very friendly." Exactly. There are a lot of other bars around and fortunately I have a choice. The management should really give these bartenders a few pointers on how to treat customers. They wouldn't last an hour working retail.
