Not gay friendly

Most of the staff is straight and many don't have an understanding of gay culture. Also, too much attitude among some staff members.

MONDAY Night is OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!

I couldn't stop going on Monday nights! Great 80's music, full dance floor, and good pours. I lived in San Diego four months and made several "bar fiends" on that one night of the week. A must do if you are visiting! The kinda night where you can look over at a stranger and just start kissing without any ?'s--free love is back and rocks at The Brass Rail.

Monday is 80's Nite

Monday is 80's night and is packed! 80 cent drinks! Yes, 80 cent drinks! Great music, and a hot local crowd. Other nights can be a little too latin for me.

Great Place for visitors

I was in San Diego for the Christmas Holiday and visited Brass Rail. The bartenders were extremely friendly and the place was packed with hot latinos (saturday night). I don't think there is a better place to be in San Diego's gay community on a Saturday night! I'll definitely return again and again!
