Bring plenty of sunscreen, a big beach towel, snacks/lunch and something to drink (No alcohol or glass on the beach and no pets.) Please pack out everything you bring down.
It will be a good hike up the beach and climbing the trail back up from the beach is somewhat strenuous with some slippery (sandy) sections, so bring appropriate footwear and always use caution.
On our last few trips, we have seen dolphins and sea lions playing close to the shore. There are also stingrays in shallow waters, so be sure to shuffle your feet whenever you are in the ocean.
This is a State Beach and is patrolled by a Lifeguard truck.
