In honor of Rich Ahrendt, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday August 26th at the San Diego LGBT Community Center Auditorium.

In honor of Rich Ahrendt, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday August 26th at the San Diego LGBT Community Center Auditorium.
One thing about Rich that I will always remember was his love for our community and his fundraising efforts. Whether it was having everyone bring laundry soap to a pool party or him donating to the LGBT Center and other charities here in San Diego, Rich will always be remembered for his generosity.
For those reasons we will also be holding a fundraiser in Rich's honor at his Celebration for the San Diego Sunburst Youth Housing. Sunburst was always an important program to Rich and he spoke often of how much he wished more could be done for their efforts here in San Diego.
For those of you not familair with Sunburst, they help our homeless LGBTQ youth in our community. Here is a link to their website:

We will have a wall of memories and photos set up during the Service. If you have photos of Rich and would like to share them, please bring them the day of the service.
