From Balboa Park to Broadway

With a long history of bringing some of the best works from Balboa Park to Broadway, you can be assured that the Old Globe will have something to bring you to a standing ovation. From Sondheim ("Into the Woods") to Neil Simon ("Rumors") to a host of other plays that have gone on to the Great White Way, the Old Globe, with Tony-winning artistic director Jack O'Brien at the helm, brings diversity to audiences. And what's a summer without the Shakespeare Festival? The Old Globe gets it's name from the Bard's theatre, and the offerings are some of the best Shakespearean productions in the world.
