Balboa Park (Visitors Center)

The great green
The country’s largest urban cultural park—with its 15 museums, gardens, a zoo and performance spaces—is a huge cultural draw in San Diego. Pack a gay picnic and hang out in the park for free. And while some of the attractions inside have admission fees, the prices are well worth it. Get in on some sports action, too, at the tennis courts, golf complex or even take on some lawn bowling.

The Hub of San Diego Outdoor Life

Being in Southern California is about being out doors. Balboa Park is where tourists and locals cross paths to enjoy the beautiful weather. It hosts regular free live concerts, many museums, the famous San Diego Zoo and the elegant Old Globe theater complex. Park that rental and enjoy a stroll amoung the stunning botanical displays and classic fountains. And come July, 150,000 Gay revellers take over the Park's Queen's Circle for one of the country's best Pride Festivals. Hope to see you there.
