Friendly, healthy, inexpensive cafe with an excellent menu
Everyone from hip 20-something vegetarians to middle age steak-and-potatoes types loves to congregate at The Mission for their menu of delicious, eclectic and affordable food. Crispy rosemary potatoes, chicken-apple sausage and an assortment of Mexican-inspired specialties grace the menu. I've been going to the Mission for several years and the food has consistently proved delightful. The servers are friendly and cheerful. There is lots of free parking just south of University.
I prefer breakfast there during the week. On the weekends the line is out the door. Isn't that the case with the BEST eateries?
