Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village

You are invited to the 18th annual Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village, presented by the Little Italy Association and H.G. Fenton Company, on Saturday, December 3rd from 4-8 p.m.! This year will be extra special because India Street will be closed for the first time to accomodate the two tree lightings. Families, friends, neighbors and visitors will gather to celebrate the lighting of Little Italy's 25' poinsettia tree, made up of over 1,000 poinsettias, as well as our new tree, brought to the neighborhood by H.G. Fenton, in front of what's going to be the new heart of Little Italy – the Piazza della Famiglia. Spectators will be able to enjoy the community’s festive decor, live music and entertainment, snacks, holiday beverages, and more! To kick-off the event, our special visitor from the North Pole will be arriving at 4:00 p.m. for meet and greets and photos with all the neighborhood kids and kids at heart. Attendees can catch Santa at Santa’s Living Room on India Street, taking pictures until 6:30 p.m. After snapping your photo with Santa, there will be fun arts and crafts for the kids to take part in with Washington Elementary STEAM Magnet School and ArtReach next to Santa’s Living Room. Additionally, local artists, crafters and Little Italy Mercato vendors will be lining India Street at the Christmas Village—selling perfect stocking stuffers, gifts and holiday goodies. The event will take place on India Street between W. Cedar and Grape Streets. The Tree Lighting ceremonies will begin at 5:30p.m. on W. Fir and India and then move down to India & W. Date.
