Great Outdoors San Diego - SUP Boarding

Outlng Lead: Brent Sammons Join us for our first GOSD standup paddleboarding outing! If you've never done standup paddleboarding, don't worry. The assumption for this event is that we're all beginners. We'll get some instruction on the dock before we head out. And then we'll have a good hour to splash around, attempt to stand up, and see how we do. The object is to get together and have fun. If we end up covering any distance on our boards, fine. If not, fine! :) Please show up on time, as we'll get the waivers signed, get everybody set up with their boards, and get our instruction going, so we're in the water by 2:30 or so. Some of us may opt to go to The Hole afterwards, or elsewhere for a drink and/or a bite. Cost will be $20 per person for the SUP boarding. Please bring cash. You'll also want to wear clothes you can get wet in, a towel, sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, some water, maybe a change of dry clothes for afterwards. RSVP so we can reserve the right number of boards and negotiate a discount, if we get enough guys signed up. Hope to see you there!
