Leather Tracks: Trails & Trials is proud to present Adam Latham as our August story teller.
Adam, a native Southern Californian, first discovered the joys of being a kinky bastard by accident at the tender age of six – when his older sister got pissed off at him and chained him to a door. His high school years at New Mexico Military Institute only furthered his interests in kink, BDSM, and uniforms, and helped his developing reputation as a sadistic SOB. It took nearly 20 years since that first incident with the chains before he discovered that there was a world full of wonderful perverts to play with, and he plunged into the Leather community with both boots on.
Adam has served the Community as past President of San Diego Leather Pride Inc., producer the Mr. and Ms. San Diego Leather Contests, Knight of Leather, The Leather Realm at San Diego Pride and many other events. Adam had the honor of being named Mr. San Diego Leather 2004, His ongoing efforts in the community have been recognized by the San Diego City Council who named a day in his honor, along with being acknowledged by the San Diego Leather Awards as Man of the Year in 2005 & 2007, and Kinkster of the Year 2007. He has judged many contests, including International Mr. Leather 33. He enjoys presenting kink education at events across the country and co-facilitated Pain Guild.
Adam is proud to be a member of the Chicago Hellfire Club, Topmen’s Club and The Tennessee Gryphons. He has worked with the Rodeo, Bear, Imperial Court, and other communities. They have honored him with a number of titles, including “Mama’s Toro,” in Mama Family, “Saint Adam N’ Evil of the Miracle Whip,” by the San Diego Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Double Eagle Crown Prince in the Imperial Court Royal Family
What is Leather Tracks: Trails & Trials (LTT&T) you ask?
Leather Tracks: Trails & Trials along the Timeline is a monthly workshop that features elders in the leather/BDSM community who share with us and discuss the trails they have forged & the trials they have endured on their leather path.
Some of the reasons to join us:
* You're interested in learning about San Diego’s leather/BDSM history?
* You're interested in knowing the who and what happened, who came before us?
* You're curious as to who the elders of San Diego’s Leather/BDSM history are? where are they, where did they go, and who is still around?
New to the community?
LTT&T hopes to be able to bring an understanding of leather history, the old guard, the new guard, contests, the relevance of the “bar scene”, earning leather, boot blacking, and a myriad of other subjects.
Been around for a while?
We hope you’ll join us in supporting your fellow brothers and sisters in leather and share in hearing their stories.
**Please note:**
LTT&T is not affiliated with or sponsored by any clubs or organizations. The workshop is open to everyone and anyone interested in learning and hearing about leather, it is not specific to any ‘one gender/orientation/or dynamic’.
