Who said that opening day at Del Mar should be boring or tradition this funky and fun event will inspire and encourage attendees to think outside of the box and express their own unique fashion and style at this year’s Del Mar Opening Day. We at the Village Hat Shop have embarked on an exciting endeavor to be engaged with our community particularly Hillcrest partnering with other local businesses to maximize foot traffic in our brick and mortar spaces. ”An Unexpected Day at the Races” is a Hat and Fashion showcase that will happen on July 10th. VHS will transform our Hillcrest location into fresh and funky runway house. showcasing looks from LA based hat couturier Arturo Rios and vintage fashion Boutique Luigi Vera along side of san Diego's own Andre Sorano!
