Queer Women of San Diego: Art show to benefit SheFest

The Lesbian Wellness Project is proud to host local artist Emily Slapin who will be showing her portraits of queer women in San Diego at a community art show in support of SheFest. This is the first of many local artist showcases and we're thrilled to be able to kick it off with a live demonstration by the artist and a chance to win a piece of her original artwork in the raffle. This is a completely free event but those who are able can support SheFest by purchasing raffle tickets or making a voluntary donation for the juice bar, beer and wine, or snacks. Raffle prizes include original artwork, gift certificates, and more. SheFest is a woman-centered event on July 9 that celebrates and supports the talents and contributions of women while fostering meaningful connections within the LGBTQ and larger San Diego community. This one day festival is FREE to ALL and will include music, workshops, games, and more in a safe space where women can experience support, encouragement and empowerment! Come to the Brown Building, a new community space in the City Heights that is home to the Lesbian Wellness Project, and enjoy the work of a local artist while supporting a fun event. All donations will go toward supporting SheFest and the Lesbian Wellness Project.
