This year, the San Diego Zoo turns 100 years old. To celebrate with all of San Diego, we’re hosting a Centennial Celebration on May 14. This is a free-to-attend sight and sound spectacular in Balboa Park, at the Plaza de Panama and Spreckels Organ Pavilion.
Starting at 6 p.m., there will be pre-show activities and entertainment, including a variety of food trucks to feed your inner beast. Dr. Zoolittle will lead the crowd as we attempt to set a Guinness World Record.
At 8 p.m., the event’s special performance is guaranteed to be like no other, featuring Tony and Grammy award-winner Heather Headley.
This is the Zoo’s way to say “thank you” to the community for a century of support! Learn more at: SanDiegoZoo100.org/events
