LGBTQ+ in Schools: Status Update

Over the past several years organizations such as San Diego Pride, the San Diego LGBT Community Center, PFLAG - San Diego County, GLSEN San Diego, San Diego Ambassadors of The Trevor Project, Lambda Archives of San Diego, and We Are FAIR have been working with San Diego Unified School District to create a better, safer, more inclusive enviroment for our LGBTQ+ youth. The school district is preparing to update the community on the progress of these efforts and the much needed work yet to be done. LGBTQ+ students currently enrolled in a SDUSD school and their parents are highly encouraged to attend. All are welcome!
