Doctor Faustus Lights the Lights

Would you sell your soul…? In Stein’s poetic retelling of the classic Faust myth, an Edison-like Doctor Faustus has made a deal with the devil: he’s sold his soul for electric light. The School of Theatre, Television, and Film will collaborate with the Schools of Music and Dance and Art and Design to engage SDSU’s 2015 Common Experience theme: Energy. This production will bring together elements of dance, music, film, art, and theatre to create the multi-layered universe in which Doctor Faustus lives.
