The Young Professionals Council – A Program of The Center will host its next 1st Tuesday Series event on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 6:30-8 pm at the Lambda Archives of San Diego. This month’s series will focus on San Diego’s vibrant LGBT history, and participants will get a first-hand look at the organization that has been collecting this history since 1987. The evening will include a brief tour of the Lambda Archives space, followed by a short presentation featuring San Diego historical tidbits, information about the work of the Archives, and how you can get involved in this work. After the tour, participants are invited to a reception with light food and beverages in the courtyard outside of the Archives. Lambda Archives is located at 4545 Park Blvd. in University Heights.
