Now, directly following the world premiere of the fully restored version (with over 30 minutes restored) at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, we are delighted to present this now gritty masterpiece at FilmOut San Diego. An early starring role for Ryan Phillippe (who goes from busboy to bartender, from ingénue to bisexual hustler and from beer drinker to drug dealer), cute best friend portrayed by Breckin Meyer, Neve Campbell as a sexy soap opera star and a glorious Salma Hayek are just a few of the film’s many pleasures. Plus Mike Myers uncanny portrayal of Steve Rubell. Faithfully recreating the magic and mayhem of Studio 54 including all variations of sex and drug use - and ofcourse replete with a fabulous soundtrack that will have you itching to dance, you’ll definitely feel that you too had strutted your funky stuff at the world’s greatest disco.
