Summer has been slow to get started, but San Diegans know this season brings the annual, triumphant return of the glorious geeks of Comic Con. Every year these majestic creatures gather to celebrate all things super, sci-fi and just plain silly. Let’s get the marvelous party started early with a SUPER HEROES VS. VILLAINS ride!
Roll out to represent your favorite comic hero or villain. Green Lantern? Red Skull? Master Shake? Whoever (or whatever) comic creation inspires the power inside you, your only weakness is your lack of imagination. We’ll even cheer you if you tempt the weather gods this month by dressing as Storm.
Costume contests? You even need to ask? Details to come. But whether you come as Batman or Baymax, take a tip from Edna Mode from “The Incredibles.” You can wear a cape, just make sure it won’t catch on any moving parts or moving people. No costume? No problem. Anyone who just shows up to these things is a hero to us.
This month’s route will fly us downtown to the spaces around the Convention Center. Route details soon. Even baddies gotta behave a bit on our ride:
