The Intersections of Sex-Trafficking

Human Rights Campaign HRC San Diego, California Against Slavery, and Truman National Security Project have collaborated to bring an informative panel discussing the dangers of sex-trafficking. Join us at the LGBT Center to hear how sex-trafficking affects our community, San Diego, and the globe. The panel includes: Daphne Phung - Founder of California Against Slavery Shawn VanDiver - Co-Director of Truman Project San Diego and US Navy Veteran Sarah Boot - Former US Attorney prosecutor and current member of Lawyers Club human trafficking task force Carmen Kcomt - Direct of human trafficking and social services at La Maestra Community Health Centers --- Tuesday, June 2 5:30 - 8:30pm Panel begins at 6pm and a short reception/meet and greet will follow.
