From Mission Bay, we head across the valley to start climbing up Murphy Canyon. Then we head up Pomerado road into Poway, where we meet Scripps Poway Parkway (aka the Purple Monster). At the top, we're at around 1800 feet of elevation! From there, we head down the 67 into Santee for lunch, then back across Mission Gorge and Mission Valley to finish.

You CAN do it and the ALC certified Training Ride Leaders are here to make sure you have all the support and encouragement you need. We are friendly, fun and ALL skill levels are welcome. NO RIDER WILL EVER BE LEFT BEHIND.
EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to join Team San Diego for this scenic and fun bike ride! We will meet at the Mission Bay Boat Launch at 7:30AM and please be prepared for our safety presentation at 7:45AM. (Mandatory)
**From the 5, exit Sea World Drive/Tecolote Rd. Go west. Pass the entrance to Fiesta Island. Turn Right onto Mission Bay Parkway/South Shores Boat Ramp. Continue to the boat ramp parking lot.

*Note: There is NO requirement to be a member of Team San Diego to join us. We offer our safe, friendly and fun training rides for the enjoyment of the entire community, however, it is an official training ride for AIDS/LifeCycle. So come on out, make some new friends and pedal your cares away.*
