In celebration of the flourishing lesbian, gay, bisexual, tansgender and questioning communities, San Diego State University will be hosing their 7th Annual Rainbow Flag Raising Ceremony to kick of San Diego Pride Weekend.
“The intent of this event is to bring people together and educate individuals about the value of difference,” said Aaron Bruce, SDSU’s chief diversity officer.
“Diversity and inclusion are part of the core values of our university and this event supports the identities of our diverse students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families.”
The Rainbow Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on July 17, 2014 from 11:30AM to 12:30PM at the Flagpole at the end of Campanile Walkway.
