San Diego Remembers Stonewall

You are invited to join San Diego Remembers on Friday, June 28 at 7 pm at Babycakes for a remembrance of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, which sparked the modern day gay civil rights movement. San Diego Remembers was formed in 2008 to remember the 10 years that had passed since Matthew Shepard's death, which was the result of a brutal hate crime. Since that time, San Diego Remembers has continued to remember those whose lives have been lost to hate, but has expanded its focus to commemorate important milestones in LGBT history. This special celebration will include a hosted champagne bar from 8-9 pm, hors d' oeuvres, a toast, raffle prizes, and more.
