Nice place with a lot of space and reasonable prices; 3.50 for a glass of wine compared to 6.00 for the same at Bourbon Street. Haven't tried any of the food so can't comment but I like the openness of the bar.

I spent many hours at Redwing. You always feel comfortable there, the bartenders are the best. I think this is the best neighborhood bar in the country. I met the love of my life at the Redwing. Robert Cortez. We spent 9 short years together, he died of cancer. The Redwing will always hold a special place in my heart.

Nothing spectacular, just your typical neighborhood bar. I believe on Saturdays they have karaoke, and sometimes they hold various fundraisers....it's improved a bit since coming under new ownership, but still typical of many neighborhood bars

Love the Redwing bar and grill. No better place for attitude free patrons and employees. The wittiness of the bartenders and the diversity of the clientele is awesome...

This bar is the best place to hang out in north park. The bartenders are awsome not to mention very good looking. You always feel welcome. The drinks are the cheapest by far from any other bar around. The patio bar on the weekends is the place to be. The improvements that have been made to redwing have made an unbelievable difference!!!

I have gone to the redwing for 2 years now, since the new owner has taken over the bar, the place looks better but the attitudes of the male bar tenders and the owner is some times impossible to deal with. I will continue to go since they have cheap drinks most of the time.

Another neighborhoog bar with great drinks, friendly patrons and a great staff. Mixed age group from barely old enough to too old. My second favorite bar in San Diego after The Loft.
So, what do you say?
