As a Brit visiting SD I didnt know what to expect. My bf and I eventually found the place after walking for miles ! My bf is more the appletini kind so didnt enjoy it. I loved the sports bar feel, the beer and the 'mens men' !! I will be back next time we visit, this time I may just go on my own .......... !

Great bar to meet people and great drinks (strong) good place to play pool and darts, Doorman is one HOT dude with a great look and nice stache, The bartenders are cool.

What a great place to unwind and have fun!!! Very local seen with out the drama of "new gays". Love this place!!!

My boyfriend and I wanted a place to visit because we had a week off, and came to San Diego. Friends here said this place was a "happening" bar on Friday nights. Rude, rude, rude people, and the most disgusting, indifferent bartenders that I have ever experienced. What a hole. Go to Mo's instead if you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of being in this town and wanting to go out.

Superbowl Sunday, the patio wasnt crowded nor was the bar. I had already ordered a Bloody Mary plus the BBQ. Bartender change. the new bartender refused to make me another bloody mary. saying,"If I make you one, Ill have to make everyone one." ITS A BAR, thats your job. I left and will never return again. Such rude service. Must be nice to dictate what drinks the bar will or will not make.

I visited Pecs three times over the period of a week, both during off nights and over the weekend. I consistently received rude or indifferent service. It was almost like the bartenders simply don't care what you think. The patrons were all very clickish and to themselves. I'm a decent looking gay guy but not a single person besides the doorman was even cordial. I'll never visit this place again!

If you like rude bartenders, then this would be the best place to go. The owners could care less what kind of service is given just as long as they get their money.

Check your attitude at the door and have some fun! This is a great little bar with friendly people to chat with and some hot men as well.
